McGilpin House |

For this project, we channeled Tuscany and used carved columns, corbels and moldings with a magnificent limestone hood. The main island is home to an industrial range, butcher block countertops and a Sub Zero steamer. The "work" island has a marble countertop, perfect for pasta and pastry making. The wall of black cabinetry to the right of the archway houses the Sub Zero refrigeration and the bar cabinetry has a stain, paint, glaze combination to give it a rustic, 200 year old appearance. Finally, we crafted a dining room table using reclaimed white oak with 8"x8" turned legs and a 18-foot top with the capacity to seat 20.
